Unexplained deaths and disappearances. Attraction and desire in three intertwined stories. A couple's honeymoon in South America is suddenly interrupted by an intruder. An experienced doctor is overcome with an uncontrollable desire to protect a young resident who works at her hospital. A man who is walking with his wife disappears in a town where everyone knows each other. In these three narratives full of suspense, Eshkol Nevo explores in a confessional tone the limits of tenderness and the consequences of desire, with Israeli identity as a transversal axis.
